CNBC S&P 500 Most Active Portfolio
Abstract
A stock portfolio was chosen by using CNBC’s Standard & Poor’s 500 top five most active in trading volume. The five stocks were selected with trading volume of 96-202 million shares on March 6, 2024. Their price increases (decreases) were computed for 2024-5. From 2024-5, the CNBC’S S&P 500 top active stock portfolio yielded 392% on average. Since the CNBC’s S&P 500 top stock trading volume portfolio’s returns were positive, the model could be used for selecting investments.
