CNBC S&P 500 MARKET MOVERS TOP GAINERS PORTFOLIO
Abstract
A stock portfolio was chosen by using CNBC’s Standard & Poor’s 500 top five price percentage gainers. The five stocks were selected with price increases of 4-9% on March 6, 2024. Their price increases (decreases) were computed for 2024-5. From 2024-5, the CNBC’S S&P 500 top stock price percentage gainers portfolio yielded -19% on average. Since the CNBC’s S&P 500 top stock price percentage gainers portfolio’s returns were negative, the model should not be used for selecting investments.
